Whenever i pluck the guitar strings, the sound is kinda soft and not loud and clear :( whats wrong?

i'm currently learning to play tears in heaven, so i need all my fingers and can't use my pick to pluck the strings, but the sound which comes out when i pluck with my fingers is soft and like kinda weak, in stark contrast to if i pluck with a pick which is nice and clear :(

Try playing with a capo on the third fret.

There's nothing wrong. It's just the sound you get with your fingers as opposed to using a pick. The fingers are much softer than the pick so the sound is naturally softer. If you want to sharpen it up you can try fingerpicks or grow your nails.
