What does the voice of God sound like? Like AM radio, staticky and rough, or like FLAC, clear and full?

Well, to Moses, it sounded like a voice from a fire.

To the children of Israel just before Moses went up the mountain to get the 10 Commandments, it sounded like many thunders and trumpets getting louder and louder.

To Elijah it sounded like a still, quiet voice.

When God speaks, it is so powerful that even the mountains are moved.

God will speak in a manner in which the person who is actually LISTENING to hear from God, can hear and understand.

Do YOU listen for God? Do YOU wait for the Lord? Do YOU spend time in His Word so that you would recognize the Voice based on the message? (After all, ';Even the devil can appear as an angel of light, and his demons as ministers of the light'; so even if you DID hear a voice, would you know if it was God's based on the message it gave you?)What does the voice of God sound like? Exodus 33:20

20 And he added: “You are not able to see my face, because no man may see me and yet live.”

We cannot hear or see God, if in the Bible the prophets heard God's voice it was because of his Holy Spirit because no one can see or hear him and live because he is so powerful. What does the voice of God sound like? Like AM radio, staticky and rough, or like FLAC, clear and full?
It can be loud enough to shake the mountains, or a still soft voice that you have to be in tune for to hear. When he speaks it penetrates every fiber of your body. There is no questioning who spoke. He never speaks that leaves anyone in confusion. Listen for that still small voice. That is usually how he contacts you, but you have to be tuned up or you'll miss it.
What ever He wants it to be or however it has be be in order to be heard. It could be as the voice of thunder or as a whisper in the wind. Some people hear and listen better than others. Each degree of Gods voice is determined on the individuals ability or willingness to listen.
