Sound output not clear?
my computers sound output is not coming clear although i can hear hazy noises. Its not a problem with my speakers because ever other device has the same problem. What can i do to make it work?Sound output not clear?

My infant is 3 weeks old and she keeps making this throat clearing sound. Should I be concerned?
My baby did that from birth and I kept going on and on about it and no one took me seriously. She is now 15 weeks old and after lots of screaming and her coughing after bottles she has just been diagnosed with reflux. If your baby also brings up milk, has lots of wind, screams a lot then it could be reflux. It may be worth asking a health professional. I bought a Sharp Aquos 52'; LCD and just cant imagine anything else. It has anti-glare and an amazing contrast ratio and lots of inputs and a sexy menu and the picture is stunning in HD. I love it and look forward to watching tv even 6 months after purchasing it. Believe it or not, traditional CRT (boxy) TVs will still give you the best picture. The only concrete advantage to LCD and plasma is depth and weight. While boxy, CRT's will give you the BEST color, with amazing blacks. Look into a flatscreen high-resolution CRT TV for best color and resolution.
LCD's suffer motion lag on fast moving objects, while Plasma has a protective screen that with bright lighting can hinder the screen image.
If you can control lighting, you will get a better picture with plasma, which also has better colors and deeper black levels than LCD.
If in a bright room then LCD is the way to go.

The Short Wave radio market has really dried up. I have been DXing since the late 70s and I hate to tell you, It's just about gone.
I have a Drake S8 that cost 800 back in 1999 and I don't get too much these days. I really can't see investing too much cash in a dying indusrty.
Grundig is a great company, they come in every price range. Basically, the more you spend, the better they are.
Also check out the C.Crane Company website, they sell Sangene radios.
It really all comes down to what you want to spend. Grundig abd Sangene are both good companies. The YB400 has been a great value for years.

But the biggest thing is that antenna.... I've had sangeans that I've hooked to good antennas and made them sing already.
however best to invest in serious (near pro) level equipment possibly.
You need something that covers all the bands and is built to last and is well designed (electronically). I would suggest looking at what Grundig and Sangean have to offer. I have been very impressed with Grundig and own two SW radios of theirs.

The voice will be richer and fuller. You won't have a strained throat and you will feel the tightness in your diaphragm and you will know the muscles are working properly. Basically, you can sing a long time without getting tired.

Please don't yell at me, I know it is stupid, but I just wanted to know.
Yesterday, my face was really sensative. For the past few days I have had red blotches around my face, too. So yesterday, I used a homemade exfoliater. It had brown sugar, milk, and honey. It left my face looking clean, but I still had a few red blotches on my face and I felt hot sensations on certain spots.
Also, my mom bought some salsa and chips yesterday, which she never has before. I was feeling REALLY bored and REALLY brave, so I ate a couple of spoonfulls of salsa. It was hot and spicy, but I liked it.
In the morning my face had cleared up a little bit more.
Could my cleared face and salsa be linked? Or no?I know this might sound stupid, but can salsa clear skin?

Like I notice how many videos that are taken by people who rarely use their camera always have the blurry background sound in their videos. While as in the better ones, you can only clearly hear the people in the videos and what they are saying.

I have a42 inch rca tv it gives a sound but no clear picture it has lines that runs thru it what can i do?
If it is an analog TV (not digital or HDTV) then you need a better antenna, better antenna connection, or better cable connection. Or you need to be more specific about what lines you are referring to going thru the picture. Have a friend who knows something about TVs look at it or seek help from a service professional.
Too many people use the push on cable wires that come with VCRs and those cause picture problems especially on TV cable due to the lack of a good connection and poor shielding. Always use 75 ohm, F connector cables that screw on finger tight.

It is either the radio's amplifier distorting or the factory speakers are blown.
The sure fix for everything would be to replace the factory speakers and add a 4 channel amplifier to take care of them.
If you only replace the factroy speakers, and do not add an amplifier, be sure to use speakers with a high efficiency rating and rated at low wattage (40-60 watts peak).

I got my Logitech G51 Surround Sound speaker system today, rear speakers don't sound clear and crackle?
I got my Logitech G51 Surround Sound speaker system today, rear speakers don't sound clear and crackle... the overall performance of the speakers are not as i expected them to be. My old speakers the ';Logitech X230's'; even sound louder and I used them on the Sound blaster Live! 5.1 sound card that i currently have installed on my system I had no problem with them speakers and I am also using my Logitech G51 Surround Sound speakers that i got today on that sound card, do you think I need a better sound card for these speakers or place them on warranty ?I got my Logitech G51 Surround Sound speaker system today, rear speakers don't sound clear and crackle?

How do you get a note to sound 'clear' on guitar?
I just picked up a guitar yesterday and I'm trying to learn how to play. I understand chords and stuff like that and I understand how to play the guitar in general but when I have my fingers in one position, sometimes the note sounds 'dead.' I have to move my fingers around (either closer to or further from the fret) to find the right clear noise. Does anybody have any tricks or tips?How do you get a note to sound 'clear' on guitar?

What YOU need is a TEACHER to at least get you started because you already think you know everthing, so all you will do is pick up a bunch of bad habits that you will eventually have to unlearn.
It's people like you that has caused me to no longer teach guitar. Everyone who picks up a guitar thinks they are a guitar player and are so arrogant you can't teach them anything. I am sick and tired of people like that who think they can learn some 'secret' tips and tricks and suddenly be able to play fantasitic chords and riffs.
First, don't place any of your fingers *directly* on the frets, instead put them right before or just after. Secondly, make sure that you're actually applying enough pressure to the strings to have them ';ring out';, rather than ';thud'; (because if you don't press down hard enough your fingers will act like dampers, and the string(s) wont vibrate.)
you have to make sure you have your finger in the middle of the frets and you need to push down fairly hard to get it to sound good.
A teacher *will* help you, if you can afford one, and help you learn faster and correctly. When you teach yourself you end up learning how to do some things wrong, and you have to go back later and learn how to do them right before you can really get to the next level (ie, playing fast *correctly*, etc). I know from personal experience....
But, whatever. The best way to fret correctly is thus:
If the headstock is ';low'; or ';below'; or ';behind'; and the bridge is ';above'; or ';ahead'; or ';high'; (which is usually how we look at the guitar) then you will want to put your finger just ';behind'; the fret, ie, not on top of it but right behind it, so that if the string wasn't there the edge of your finger would be touching the edge of the fret.
You should try and fret with *just enough* force to get the string to ring out clearly, and no more. Pressing too hard will cause the string to go sharp and sound slightly out of tune, and if pressing too hard becomes a habit, then it will actually keep you from playing fast, when you're ready to do that.
Do not fret in the ';middle';, that's a good way to cause string buzz, poor sustain, and possibly an off-pitch note. Whomever is doing that isn't doing it correctly, and is giving you bad advice.

Make sure you get your mid-range taken care of. Get new speakers in all doors and get about 2 tweeters up front. You have to cover all bases to get a nice sound system. You have the bass from the sub, you have have the mids covered with your 6x9's but you need some 6 1/2's and the tweeters.

I've been playing an epiphone les paul special which isnt a very good guitar. I need something with a better tone, something clearer. I wanted to know when I look for a clear guitar what should I look for? Is it the pickups? The amount of knobs? Does a guitar with two humbuckers sound better than one with three single pickups? You could pick up a new Squier or if you can scroungue up about $100 extra you could go with a decent greg bennett. As for the pickup issue, humbuckers are great if you want heavier deeper tone but the single coils will provide clear pickup. I'd say get a DECENT strat copy that has a humbucker and two single coils.

Hi, I play a 5 string bass guitar and I keep getting like a slappy noise from it when i strike the string. Ive chaneg my amp settings and it helps a little, but im wondering. If I raise the strings of my bass a little firther from the fretboard will that help? I think it may be hitting the fretboard when it vibrates.Will raising my strings give me a more clear bass guitar sound?
thats usually whats causing it when you get rattly strings. your strings must be too close to the fretboard. i believe you can raise them by putting a bigger nut at the neck of your guitar to raise them slightly more from the fretboard.
adjusting the amp settings wont affect it at all.
you can be sure that its the strings on the fretboard by playing your bass unplugged to see if it still happens

Better are those like the HV40 with a 12-step manual audio level control - and best are the prosumer and pro external audio controls...
But in your situation, there is no ';fixing'; the audio you already have.

It is not uncommon for puppies to have a respiratory infection, in fact quite common at 1 month and younger,. Generally everything is fine and it clears itself, but I would not take a chance in not treating with something as precious as a two week old puppy. A snotty nose indicates a problem in a puppy this young and you won't be able to diagnose how big a problem it is so YES off to the vet. Also make sure the puppy is warm, don't know what breed this is but Toys for example can't generate their own body heat until they are 4-5 weeks old, so make sure this puppy is warm. I use a heating pad under my whelping box so the puppy always has a warm area. Sometimes it can be parvo or kennel cough in that case the whole litter needs to be treated and parvo is very expensive and sometimes not curable.

My daughter has constant cough. Dr. said lungs sound clear, but now lips are turning blue sometimes. Thoughts?
When she was 4, she had a positive TB skin test, but was just a carrier so they put her on drugs to prevent it. Unfortunately while she was staying with grandma, she wasn't given it regularly so now I am always on the watch for any symptoms because she cant have any more skin tests..only x-raysMy daughter has constant cough. You can request the doctor to order an ultrasound of her heart and lungs to see if a problem can be spotted. Something is going wrong that is causing her to turn blue. That is from a lack of oxygen. Problems with the heart can have this effect as well. I have this sort of thing myself, but I'm not a little girl. It sounds like something she should see a lung specialist about to be sure. He would know if anything extraordinary was happening by doing some simple tests in his office. You ought to try and get her in to see one right away. Good luck to you in this.

I'm a very calm person, but when I go to the doctors, I don't let them give me platitudes. I am just as smart as they are and I know every inch of my own anatomy. I don't let them gloss me over with oh, here, have an antibiotic. The first thing I say when I go to the doctors is, ';I'm allergic to latex, I'm allergic to.....'; Whatever. Before they touch my skin, I again remind them that I am severely allergic to latex and double check to make sure they are NOT wearing latex gloves. Half the time, they have already forgotten what I said ten minutes before!!! I do not appreciate getting painful rashes from latex! I get very angry because too much exposure to latex can kill me. They just don't think!
A constant cough + blue lips seems to scream asthma to me. Lots of people think you can't have asthma without wheezing, but that is completely untrue. Go back to your doctor, discuss the possibility of your daughter having asthma and ask for him to prescribe a reliever inhaler to see if that helps your daughter. And go back urgently because blue lips are a sign the asthma is quite bad (unless its also very cold outside, in which case blue lips could be a sign of your daughter being very cold!)
As for the positive skin test for TB, I really wouldn't worry about that being a cause. It is highly unlikely your daughter has TB. Lots of people are carriers of TB (1 in 3 worldwide) and would react positively to a skin test (I did aged 13) but will never develop the disease. In fact of the 2 billion people who carry TB in the world, only 200 million will ever develop an active form of the disease and 2 million will die (annually). TB tends only to develop in carriers when the carriers immune system is compromised (eg by HIV, certain drugs, diabetes, organ transplants or sometimes stress etc). So TB is not likely to be the cause of your daughters illness, but something definitely is. Demand your doctor does further tests, or ask for a second opinion.
Go to another doctor a pulmonologist who specializes in the lungs. She needs to see someone ASAP. Blue lips is not a good sign, it says that she is not getting enough oxygen. If you have a children's hospital near you I would take her to the emergency room and have them take care of her and find out what is going on...............Good Luck.............

I have a kodak easyshare, v1253, 12 mega pixel, HD, didgital camera. I wanted to be able to record video at madonnas concert with clear sound. with my old camera, the sound from the gwen stefani concert came out terrible. you couldnt even tell what she was saying. please dont reccomend me another camera. just tell me whether this specific camera can take clear sound. (i want to know, so i know whether to take videos, or save the room for more pictures).

use cool edit to record your vocal, then eq or master it, but if you if you want a pro sound u need a condenser mic, thats what they use in studios, samson make an aiight usb one. While djing, how do i use a microphone and stream clear sound from my mixer through my comp?
i dj on a live stream video brodcast and all i need now is a mic.
i have one but the thing is to get clear sound i connect my mixer to my desktop using a RCA to headphone adapter cable. now, that goes into the line in. then i connect my mic to the microphone spot in the back of my desktop also. i expected them both to work, and they do! but they dont work together, i have to choose either the line in or microphone. using the mic. i can talk and its clear as day but no sound coming from my mixer unless i put the mic next to the boothspeaker that i listen to while i dj and turn up the volume on my mixer but i dont want that. now if i choose the line in option then the music playin from my mixer comes threw 100% clear, but i cant use the mic. even if i try plugging it into the mixer itself it still doesnt work!
please if anyone knows what im talking about can you help me out!

Microphone through the mixer should work!
Assuming your mixer has a dedicated Microphone Input (and it works)
the Microphone you are using may not match the input impedance of your mixer check to see if there are any switches marked hi/low Z near the mic socket.
Try another Mic if you can find one.
If your Mic has a Stereo jack on it, same as the headphone adapter, try pulling it OUT of the socket (or adapter if you're using one) very slightly, when using stereo jacks in mono sockets the earth connection is not always made if the plug is pushed all the way in.
If the microphone came with your PC and has a stereo jack on it then it is probably a ';Condenser Mic'; which is powered by the PC and you will need a different one.

I have a question about the Loud N Clear Sound Amplifier for hearing purposes?
The other day I saw an infomercial for a product that amplifies sounds, and you can hear a conversation from across the street. Does the Loud N Clear sound Amplifier actually work? If I am listening to one person, will it pick up well, or will I get distracted by other voices and sounds? I'm 24 and have difficulty hearing sometimes, so would this be a good alternative to a hearing aid? Good speakers with decent bass and very clear sound?
I have a 98 toyota corolla. it's had stock speakers that were pretty good, but as of recently the driver side rear speaker buzzes on every bass pump, I took it apart and I'm sure it's blown there's no visible moving parts.
but I'm curious as to what people have found to be good not too expensive speakers. I was thinking Pioneer but that's really all I've heard of.

So you are using the red and white cables to take the audio from the converter box to the TV?
You might check to see if the audio cable is seating tightly and you might even try wiggling the cable around a bit to see if that changes the noise in any way.
Although this would be a pain, it would be interesting to take this audio out from the converter and feed it to an AV receiver (or anything else with an audio input). This would help isolate the problem to the converter or your TV.

Do you mean speaking voice or singing voice? If you want to speak better, do a lot of reading. Read out loud. Practice. Stand up straight and speak as if what you're saying is the most important thing in the world. Before speaking, drink a glass of water. If you're going to speak for more than 5 minutes, have a jug of water handy and don't be shy to use it. I sing solos, so I know how important it is to stay hydrated. When speaking, you are giving off droplets of water, which is why your mouth seems to go dry when speaking. That's because it IS dry. Fear also does something to the quality %26amp; clarity of your voice. So, overcoming your fear of speaking is important too. The only way to do that is to speak as often as you can, without being a motor mouth. If you're in a social situation, don't hog the conversation. Limit your speaking to a couple of sentences, allowing others to participate. Sometimes singing can help your voice get stronger. That happened to me. Once I started singing solos, I became stronger. Now, I hardly need a microphone in church. Just keep practicing. If you have speech problems, you might want to consult with a speech therapist, who can show you ways to overcome any difficulties you're having. Do the best you can. If it still doesn't improve, just accept that it's something you'll have to live with, like freckles. Use inflection, but not so much it is distracting from the content of your words. If singing, use enough volume that someone in the next room should be able to clearly make out your words. If speaking, speak loudly enough so that a person in the far corner of the room can hear you well. Try to maintain a constant volume, unless inflection calls for a change.
Eat a lot of cheetos, drink thick shakes and smoke at least 3 packs of cigarettes a day.

2005 Honda Civic I would like clear sound and powerful bass?
I still have the factory system installed I want to switch out everything from top to bottom I have already purchased an amp, subwoofer (Audiobahn), and tweeters (Audiobahn). I need a how to guide on DIY(Do It Yourself) when switching an entire system and I want to purchase a quality pair of speakers both front and rear and I want to go from four to six speakers. I need the best prices to do this I am on a budget and I will be purchasing a head unit (Most likely one with indash dvd player). Does adding all of this sound feasible in a 2 door Civic2005 Honda Civic I would like clear sound and powerful bass?

Something along the lines of Phoenix Gold's RSd line-up. If you're willing to spend the money and really want that quality, Rainbow is a great manufacturer. Find any amp that will do a true 200-300w RMS into 2-channels at 4-Ohms to power the components. This next part usually sounds iffy to most people, until they try it. Or they'll hear about it from other audiophiles... Leave the rear speakers disconnected. Yes, disconnected. This helps quite a bit when it comes to sound imaging. Think of your car as a concert. Would you want to face the band or turn your back to them? I would have gone a different route for the sub-stage (something like an RE SX, Fi Q, etc.) but I guess you'll have to make do with what you currently have. As far as the installation of the system. Just about anyone can do it. Where 90% of peple go wrong is either wrong ohm loads, or wrong polarity. Some even think that the little knob on their amp that says ';Gain'; is a volume knob. Then they wonder why their driver no longer works. So, If you want the most power/quality without clipping your amps, be smart and grab a test tone CD and a DMM to set your gains right. As far as cost goes. The PG RSd's I mentioned range anywhere between $100 to $140 a set. Other names like JBL and Rainbow can be had from anywhere to a couple hundred to a few thousand dollars. As for the amp to power the components, check names like Hifonics. Nice power for the money. Such as the Hifonics TXi-4006 that can be had for $120.
