How can I take an mp3 made from concert video and make is so we can hear it sound better/clearer?

I am trying to figure out the lyrics to a song and can't make out most of it, because there is screaming and too much bass etc. Is there a software to clean it up and make it clearer? How can I take an mp3 made from concert video and make is so we can hear it sound better/clearer?
You can try WavePad www.nch.com.au/wavepad. If you rip the audio from the video you can run a couple of filters from the Effects menu on the audio to try and clean it up.

A high-pass filter (sometimes called a low cut filter) removes all low frequencies below a specified Hz. This is useful if you want to make your recording sound 'clearer' or less 'muddy'. It is very usual to use a high-pass filter of about 300Hz on all voice recordings to improve intelligibility.

The WavePad help file gives you more examples of cleaning up audio. How can I take an mp3 made from concert video and make is so we can hear it sound better/clearer?
Oh, good luck with that. It's not easy to do. I know CSI do it with a couple of taps of the keyboard, but the reality is quite far from that.

Sound Forge incorporates Sony Noise Reduction and will have a good stab at doing what you want, but it will take a long time and a lot of patience to get a half-decent result.

There are surely easier ways of getting hold of the lyrics.
Yes, it is possible and not hard to do this. I suggest you download Albeton Live 5 and change the bass settings, and remaster the audio. It is quite simple to do.
