What exhaust system is the best for a deep-loud clean/clear sound?

I plan on replacing the exhaust system to my 1995 2.2L subaru Impreza but have no idea what exhaust system is the best for a nice deep clean sound. I am also not sure what diameter I should get, would a 2.5'; work fine? I don't know if I should replace the entire system or only the cat-back. if your lookin for a little speed increase go for the whole exhaust system. if you just want a loud clean sound you should probably go for only the cat back. my brother has a 5'; on his car and it sounds clean and loud. a 2.5'; would work but not as good as a bigger one
