How do I fix an RCA TV has no sound but Clear picture?

I have an RCA F38310, that has recently lost all sound. The picture is still great, but I get no sound. I tried hooking up two external speakers to the outputs on the back, but still no sound. No changes were made to the menu settings, etc. Is there a fuse associated with the audio?

The TV is great, I'd hate to lose it. Any help would be appreciated. How do I fix an RCA TV has no sound but Clear picture?
In what position is the switch that can switch between internal or external speakers? If you connect any of the line audio outputs to a VCR or DVD, do you get any sound at all? If all of your tests to check Audio do not work, then I'm afraid you will have to have a competent technician look at your set. Considering it is a 38'; Widescreen CRT w/HDTV, it could be worth fixing. How do I fix an RCA TV has no sound but Clear picture?
There might be a fuse, however your last resort could be running the audio out of the rear of your dvd player or vcr. Get some rca cables and run the video out to a reciever and have the sound come out of your stereo.

If the the repair is not obvious than its not worth getting it repaired. Unlike the older TV's .... modern tv's are not designed to be repaired .... only replaced.
Take it to a certified repair shop.
