I have a single flow master and I am sorry.... so I am replacing mine with a (flow master American thunder 1 in to 2 outlet) cat back exhaust it's the best muffler for sound looks and price for about $300. and you can install it your self or have it installed for about $100. but it's not that hard to do it your self.


The 40 series flow master are one of the loudest on the market and sound really good on a v8 but not on a v6 when it revs up it gets raspy, kinda like a speaker when you play it to loud and it distorts (embarrassing) .


I personally like the Magna flow the best if you must have a single and have the money the for a cat back exhaust, the sound is not as loud but deeper, it doesn't get raspy on hi rpms and is the most unrestrictive muffler on the market with a completely see though exhaust, and is priced at about $ 500. something but you can just buy the parts and it's allot cheaper the muffler is $98.00 and have a shop install for about $300. for the same thing full cat back . total being about $440.00 installed. Or under a tight budget the Magna flow or


flow master you can have a shop install just the muffler and us the exiting pipes for about $150.+ muffler price about $100.


but I would check around first to see if you can get that deal at a shop before ordering a exhaust.


At least when you go with a Magna flow single you wont get unneeded attention and they wont think your trying to fool them that you have a v8 with people trying to race a v8 mustang all the time and you will get the highest hp possible .





You can hear lots of exhaust clips on (you tube) under v6 mustang, check it out and you be the judge.

there you go thug get a 1 into 2 1 muffler and 2 xhaust pipes itll sound beefier there are tons of brands out there but ive only used flowmaster
