How far along should u be when u can hear the babys heartbeat or a clear sound of movement with a stethoscope

I'm 26 weeks and I've got a pretty good stethoscope and I still can't really hear anything. I think maybe I've heard it but I'm not sure. But I have heard the 'woosh' sound from the placenta and that's pretty neat. How far along should u be when u can hear the babys heartbeat or a clear sound of movement with a stethoscope
12 Weeks at the doc appointments to hear the heart beat, but they can see it on ultra sounds at 5-6wks. They can hear movement on a dobbler at around 14-16 weeks. How far along should u be when u can hear the babys heartbeat or a clear sound of movement with a stethoscope
I never could hear the heartbeat with a plain ole run of the mill stethoscope...but around 30-32 weeks I could hear movement if he move right under it.
about 14 weeks the doc can usually hear the heartbeat
around 28 weeks.
my doctor let me hear it at 12 weeks....28 weeks is WAY off!
